President's Message

Wayne KrauseThe Tunkhannock Rotary Club has been an important part of the community since it was chartered on August 25, 1925. People who are interested in Rotary often ask, what is Rotary? And, what do Rotarians do? These questions are difficult to answer in a short conversation. According to Rotary International, it is a global network of community volunteers in more than 200 countries. Rotary members are business, professional, and community leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

While viewing this website you can see all the various projects and happenings that Rotary has to offer on a local level. If you believe in the Rotary motto, “Service above self”, we warmly invite you to visit our Rotary Club and learn more. Tunkhannock Rotary meets every Thursday at 12:15pm for lunch at the Prince Hotel in downtown Tunkhannock.

Sincerely,

Wayne Krause
President, Tunkhannock Rotary Club
