1st - The Tunkhannock Rotary club received it's 2nd consecutive
Presidential Citation and a Special Innnovative Programs award
from our District 7410 Governor Ted Silver.
The
Tunkhannock Rotary Club has been an important part of the community since it
was chartered on August 25, 1925. People who are interested in Rotary often
ask, what is Rotary? And, what do Rotarians do? These questions are
difficult to answer in a short conversation. According to Rotary
International, it is a global network of community volunteers in more than
200 countries. Rotary members are business, professional, and community
leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards,
and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
