On September 10th, 1981, Rotary President Richard Stark informed the School District that the Rotary Club had approved a commitment of $3,000 toward the erection of a Field House at Memorial Stadium. Rotary took a leadership role in implementing this project and in obtaining funding from other community service clubs.
